It's been such a LONG time since I have added a freebie...much less a BIG WONDERFUL KIT! I've missed the DIGI world and since I had a few day's vacation I thought I would work on a Kit! Oh the JOY!! Kynlee Raegan Benedick was born on Feb 22nd! Weighing in @ 8LBS even and 19 &1/2INCHES Long! She is a Beauty! I watched my daughter give birth to this beautiful life! It was amazing. I am a GRANDMA!! One of my FB friends gave me a nickname of "Glamma" and I LUV it!! My Grandma name is Big Mom though! It was my Great Grandmothers name and I have decided to take it over! God has been so very good to us and Kynlee is just an Angel!

New House

Ok...We have suffered enough!! We moved into our "Tin-Can Ranch" (my affectionate name for our current home) back in April 2008. We had downgraded and condensed from our bigger house into this teeny, tiny mobile home...and it's finally, finally, finally time to move!! We are calling our new house "Mobile Home Mansion" b/c you can fit 4.5 of our current house inside the new one!! LOL LOL LOL!! Yeah us!! MORE SPACE! It needs just a little TLC and that will happen very quickly after we close on Friday!! Have I mentioned that I can't wait??!!

In 15 short weeks or less I am going to be a GRANDMA!! I want my Grandma name to be "Big Mom". My Great Grandmother was affectionately called Big Mom and I'm gonna take her name...I don't think she'd mind! =) In the MHM (mobile home mansion...I mentioned above...LOL) we are going to give little miss Grand baby her own room! We are loved crazed for a baby who hasn't even arrived yet! You should hear my husband talk about her...he can hardly wait!! So...We are ready for Miss Kynlee Raegan to show up...but not before it's time!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Wow!! I just cannot believe my last post was in April!! I totally dropped off the face of the earth! There is sooo much to tell! In May of this year, I started having back problems again. In June I had two "dead" vertebrae removed from my neck and my oldest daughter graduated high school! I am still recovering and am doing very well! In July my oldest daughter announced that she was expecting! And in August she married her sweetheart! I had to stop designing back in May because I could not hardly function! I have done NO scrapping! It's sad and I do miss it...I feel totally out of touch! :( I don't know if any one's still out there reading or not, but I miss my blogging friends!!

I know I have been away for a little while! I am sorry! I needed a little break from some things in my life and un-fortunately this is one thing that I didn't have luxury for! I will try to post more than once a month though. We had some things going on with my oldest daughter and her boyfriend that required our immediate attention and just some family issues that were causing my husband and myself a great deal of stress....it's not gone, but certainly is better. Designing has been placed on the back burner and I hope to be able to get back to it very soon. I hope you all are doing very very well and surely I will have you a freebie soon!

Phew...returning to work has been...well...Work! LOL! Busy, Busy. This is our busiest time of the year and things certainly speed up for me...as if I needed that! I am truly happy to be back at work though! My first day back I was all smiles and happy. My BFF (whom I work with) was looking all weird and told me to "cut it out & wipe that smile off your face"..hehe. She was thrilled I was back...she could give me my pile of work to do! So, life is almost back to norm. The hubby is doing very well in the new job and loves it. Kiddo's are doing great...Life is Good! Hey...I like that name for a kit...hmm. Thank You for all your kind words and support! I am sitting very well now and I am managing wonderfully! I go back to work on the 29th and I am so excited to return. This has been a very trying time for me, but I finally feel like I am going to come out of this just fine. I was really begining to wonder though there for a little while. To Celebrate my recovery and gift you for your patience I have been putting together a Halloween kit for you! This was sooo much fun! MIA...oh boy

HI ALL!

I have been MIA! I know...I know...no updates or anything. Well...I had surgery. I got down in my back again and after several doctors and a few tests they found two masses on my back that were giving a great deal of pain. Great news though...NO CANCER...phew!! Funny thing was after all the tests and doctors they never actually found them on any scan, X-ray or anything...you could just feel them and see them. It was weird! I pointed them out to my GP whenever my back first starting hurting in September and he sent me to Spine surgeon. He ran all kinds of tests and "NOTHING". He couldn't understand why my back was hurting and suggested physical therapy. When I mentioned the knots on my back he just brushed me off. I did that twice because where the knots were was where my pain was located. He stilled brushed me off. So back to the GP I went and he sent me to a pain doctor. I got 6 shots in my back and it actually made it worse! So I went back to my GP they did a sonogram on the "lumps" and decided they were "small" but worth checking on them. So he sent me to another surgeon and when I saw him, he agreed they were definitely worth looking into, but there were no guarantees that removing them would alleviate my back pain. I was game for anything, so we decided to have them removed. It turns out that the masses were WAY larger than expected. The one on the right side was the size of a SOFTBALL and was pressing on a lot of nerves in my back. The one on the left was the size of a large LEMON and was also wrecking havoc! So...after a surgery on the right and left side of my back...I am finally on the mend. I am getting to leave the house and everything!! LOL! I went out to lunch today. Riding in the car really is not fun. If I can get into one comfortable spot and stay there I can deal with it, but my car sits so low that it’s not very comfortable. Anyway...I hope to be back designing very soon and really miss being around! I hope all is well with everyone!!

It's been 10 days??

What the heck?? Has it really been 10 days since I posted! Wow!! Ok, my neglect only goes so far!! Things have been hectic...the usual. Things are looking up though! Jerry has been working regularly and that in itself is a blessing! We are still struggling, but things are getting better. Michelle is here and it's been so great having her around. We have been battling the Home Owners Association from Hell in our little community. Sheesh. It's always something & everyone is CONSTANTLY getting some kind of notice. Our underpinning (which is FINE), we have lattice on our porch (LOTS of people do), you don't have the right mini blinds (?? huh...that's the very first thing I hung up, BUT I hung the pleated kind, they want VINYL slated ones), take of the trailer hitch (done, but it is a MOBILE home right). The list could go on forever. My point is I have a 46 year old trailer...the very oldest one out here. I am certain that I can't make it look new. If any neighbors together, it's all we talk about. It's insanity. This woman in the office she puts the ITCH in that B word. Michelle had been in her house all of 5 days and started getting notes on her door. Anyhoo...I kinda scared Michelle last night. I walked over and she was sitting outside. I sat down and said..."hey, I need to talk to you" and sat down. She looks at me and I tell her that we are moving. She just stares at me...w/ steam pouring out her ears...LOL. She finally pipes up and says WHERE?? I pointed to the double wide directly across the street from her. She said she was about to spontaneously com-bust when I told her we were moving...hehe. The lady across the street has had enough and wants out of here after 26 years. She is selling her place & we are going to do are very best to purchase hers. We have done a lot of work on little house, so, I am hoping that we can sell it. I really would like just a little more room!! It's a reasonable price, so start praying we can come up w/ the cash. School is about to start for our little people & I have to take my youngest to register/change some classes today. She's a sweetie pie! She will be a sophomore this year. UN-thinkable!! My oldest seems to be calming down. She did move in w/ her boyfriend and that was disappointing. I am relieved that she is going to finish school though. She is my VERY stubborn one and of course...I know nothing!! She will get it soon enough...life tends to do that. Anyway...that's what's going on! Oh...and they want to get married...in JULY outside in TEXAS...hmmm...I foresee a melting bride and cake...ROFL!!

I saw this on Scrap Stew Sue's blog! Wordle! It makes little word clouds out of words you provide it! I made some really cute ones! I haven't decided what to do with them, but the possibilities!! HEHE! Soo much fun! I did this for over an hour! We were pretty busy this weekend! We helped Michelle move into her little house! I am so excited to have her here! My husband absolutely acting like a crazy person keeping us all in laughs! He can be such a comedian sometimes! Actually, I think he would secretly love to really do comedy! He would embarrass us all w/ our own embarrassing stories...LOL! No Thank YOU!!! We were all dead tired after moving in the HORRIBLE HEAT and we crawled, limped and finally got into bed around Midnight! Today is Michelle's Birthday too! Happy Birthday sweetie! I LOVE YOU! Your a wonderful Best Friend and I can't imagine my life without you in it! I don't know what I did before you came along! I am so thankful for you! Soooo...Happy Birthday!! Luv u Girly!! Ok...I have been MIA, but I have a CU Freebie!

Sorry for taking so long! Things (as usual) have been pretty crazy here! After my lifelong girlfriend was here from Nebraska, my youngest daughter went back with her. Then 4 day's later her Grandmother passed away. That started my Friday! Trying to figure out how to get my daughter home & getting her here in time for the funeral. It all worked out, but PHEW...it was exhausting! And then there's the cash flow problem...my husband was laid off a week before we left to Alaska (over a MONTH ago)...and our funds are completely tapped out! God was good to us and we were able to sell some extra things and pay bills, but he needs some work! Pray for us! Please! He needs work, just pray God keeps him covered up in work. Things have picked up this week, so I am very hopeful. And then there's little house...we have issues! #1 we have ants...LOT's. They aren't fire ants, but little bitty ants...invading EVERYTHING! We had a water leak in out bedroom...sheesh...and I won't even go into the issue w/ my boss & work....ok a little...let's just say that it's almost more than I can handle. I need a vacation from my life...!

Fun, Friends & a Freebie

We had a fabulous weekend! One of my very best friends was down from Omaha & visited! I had a wonderful time w/ her and her little ones! They were precious! Jerry had the best time chasing her 15month around! And was she a cutie pie! All dimples and brown eyes! Goregous! The baby is 4 months and he is a sweetheart! Blue eyes and all coo's and slobber! Awww...I miss having a little one. It's weird to realize that you are past ever becoming a Mommy again. I know if it were possible for me to have more children...I probably would. Ha! Although I was WAY past exhausted after they left! I was sooo tired at work today!! LOL! And she does that everyday...PHEW! My youngest little beauty Kaylee went back with her to spend a few weeks w/ her! She is so excited to go! I am so happy she get's to get out of town and have some fun! All Stars...It's Over!

All Star's is over. The little guy's played Ok, but I think the heat was just too much for them today. The plate Ump actually called time just to give my son a drink! It was HOT & the other team just kept gaining momentum...it was just too much for them! So after a few tears, baseball is over for our little guys! Congratulations Chance for a fantastic season! I am very proud of you!

I just made myself a new banner! Let me what you think! I also watched the bucket list tonight...sniff sniff. I loved it though! Well...it's been another quick weekend and I am exhausted! Good Night!

Alaska Ice Paper Pack 2

Hi Guys!
Sorry for not getting to this before today! Things have been a whirlwind this week! My son is playing in All Stars and we have been playing baseball all week! They won District last week in a fantastic showing. This week, things are a quite a bit harder! On Thursday, they just weren't completely in it and it was HOT! Unfortunately they lost, but this is double elimination! After a great Friday night practice, they showed up this morning. They all played very well & Chance hit his very first homer over the fence. He did the airplane run all the way to home base. I was never a prouder Momma! We play again tomorrow and I hope they keep the hard work up. Although...I am about baseball'd out! Seems like we have been playing FOREVER! Anyway...GO MUSTANGS!

It's been a while since I have given a freebie kit & my trip has inspired me. We went through Tracy Arm and this Pic inspired me to make this kit! All the ice and mountains were so amazing and the blue in the icebergs...WOW! That just sums it up for me! LOL! We had to get up REALLY, REALLY early when cruising through Tracy Arm to enjoy the view (and it was SUPER COLD...LOL), but it was breathtaking! WOW! What a trip!! I just LOVED it! Alaska is so beautiful! Cruising was fun too! We started it off in Seattle! We went downtown to Pike's Market and that was just too cool! I was like a little kid, skipping and singing! My theme song was the Kung Fu Fighting song! It was just stuck in my head! We headed North to Alaska for the next day and our first port was Ketchikan! It was sooo lovely! We did'nt have an excursion there, so we just took in the town and shopped, shopped and shopped some more! It was just amazing! BUT, I will give you more details later! I am exhausted! I have been home since Monday morning and haven't been to bed before Midnight each night! I will leave you with a few pics though! I'll be back soon!

I will be MIA until July 1st! Just a 2 short days until we leave! We are so excited! My Dad is counting the hours now! He is soo cute! We fly into Seattle on Saturday and leave on our cruise on Sunday! This trip will finish the contintal United States for my Husband and leave only Hawaii for him to have been in EVERY US State! I think that's too cool! I am excited for Him too! I am soo ready to go! Michelle and I have been Beebopping around the office singing..NORTH to Alaska! Hehe!! Ok...now for some serious business. Yipee! I am too excited! I was chosen for LO of the Day @ Moo Two! Whoo Hoo! Yea Me!

Ok...phew. I did my happy dance! This week has been a quick one! It's just flew by! Michelle has been staying with me for a couple of days & I have truly enjoyed it! It's nice riding to work with someone. The kids are out for the Summer and are bored. Little stinkers! I wish I was bored! LOL! I am going to start packing this weekend I guess! My Mom & Dad have been packed for OVER a MONTH! I guess you could say they were excited! LOL! My cousin & I went shopping last night. He hasn't really bought anything for himself in a long while & I got to be the fashion police. He let me know (REAL QUICK) that flowered Hawaiian shirts would not be on the list! LOL! He will look great for our cruise! He dropped a small fortune for it, so he should!! Jerry has been out of town & just got in early this morning. Sooo glad he's home! Things in his job are changing and if you would think about him w/ your prayers. I don't know what God is doing there, but I totally expect great things to happen!

About the freebies...I need someone to share their creative energy with me please!! I just am NOT feeling it lately. The best thing I have come up with is NOTHING! I even went to The Great American Scrapbooking Convention last week and still...NOTHING. Not that I have really had time anyway, but still! Hopefully I can get something done soon.

Good Company...Great Weekend

We just had a great weekend! Things were a little stressful on Saturday! We had a water heater full of ants. Little buggers! They had a full nest in the thing....tunnels and all! Jerry just happened to catch it before it caught on fire. It was actually smoking too! Michelle just happened to have an EXTRA water heater that was sitting in her laundry room and it was exactly what we needed, so she was on her way with it! YEAH! Thank You Michelle! After she arrived we both worked @ our real jobs until around 5PM. Geez! Jerry & Brad installed the water heater and by 6PM we had hot water! We decided that a couple of Pool games were in order after our gruelling day and we all headed to kick back and relax! We all hadn't had that much fun in a long while! I truly LOVE playing pool, but who has time anymore?? Miss Michelle is quite a good player despite her protests. We played teams and took turns kick'n each others butts! LOL!Church was amazing this morning and we tried the Denton Campus for the first time. We really enjoyed it! I did a LO of Michelle & I! We snapped a few pics before we went out last night! She's too cute! I just love her! I am kinda in a rut designing right now...I hope that wears off soon! It's frustrating! Anyhoo...off to spend a little time with the hubby!

When will this week be over

Hi All!

I am sooo ready for this week to be over. Work has truly been awful. I have been so frustrated with work I am daydreaming of leaving. That's not good. I am shuffling between "hot" projects like a magician. And my boss wants to know when I will be done...hmmmph. I emailed him back and gave him my to do list. A long one. I LOVE where I work, I LOVE the people I work with. I am NOT loving this last month though. I actually got an email from another manager asking me to do some work....it actually made me cry, seriously...just broke down and cried. LOL! Luckily, my break from the chaos is soon! We leave in 16 days!! Whoo Hoo! Alaska here I come. If I am lucky...maybe they will keep me!! LOL. I started working on a freebie and I fell asleep at the computer....maybe I need to sleep! On another note...I feel a little stagnate creatively. Anyone have any magical tutorials out there. For PSE? Maybe something new could help!! Anyone??

Hi All!

Memorial day weekend was great! Jerry has been in Phoenix and he flew in on Friday. We got to spend the weekend together. Not really much to talk about except the wedding we attended. As I said before...very nice! We had a great time. We went to my Mom & Dad's and had a great meal and played a little fourty two! I love that game, but I am a gamer! I love just about all games! The new puppy had eye surgery again on Tuesday. Her poor eyes...she has "cherry eye". Its very common in Bulldog's. I hope it takes this time or she will have another surgery. Trying to keep Gus and Annie seperated is a chore. I just don't want them to play too hard...LOL. The kids are headed to Oklahoma w/ their Dad for the weekend, so maybe I will get some scrapping done. I should really work on the closet though! Work is keeping me busy and I am sick of budget talk. Eww. It's non-stop. I hope Friday gets here soon!

Weddings and my Love for my Husband

Hi All!

We attended a fantastic wedding yesterday! Jerry's nephew got married and the whole thing was wonderful. As I watched them exchange vows I got so choked up. All I thought about was how young their love is...and if they nurtured it how much more it would grow. I squeezed my husband's hand and just thanked God. Jerry and I have certainly been through some rough times. At the beginning, things were tough because of Jerry's alcoholism. Our marriage was hanging on by threads when Jerry went into re-hab. When Jerry really, really sought God for relief, our relationship began to change. It was honestly scary for me. While I hated his drinking, I didn't know this man without alcohol. Although we had been married for a few years, this marriage was new, with someone who was drastically changing everyday. Every time I prayed, God would affirm that he was at work in us. I repeated my vows in my mind yesterday and I am thankful God had a plan for Jerry and I. Jeremiah 29:11 comes to mind. I love God...I love what he gave me...My Husband.

How's it going out there?

Hope everyone is very well. We are doing "OH SO MUCH" better. I am 100%! Yeah me!! Jerry did have a bad allergic reaction type thing w/ some shots he had in his back, but he is much better. Thank You everyone for praying for us!

Today is my youngest daughters birthday. 15...how in the heck did she just turn 15?? I swear I just gave birth to that child. I will never forget the nurse laying her in my arms. She was so fat and cute! Chubby cheeks and thick, dark black hair that they had put into a Mohawk, topped with a small pink bow. I laughed and cried. So sweet. Kaylee is a sweet young lady and oh so much fun to be with. I cherish every moment I get with her. She is truly God's gift. Happy Birthday Kaylee!

Little house is going very well. Well...hmm...I haven't done one single thing too it lately, but we're okay! I still haven't downsized anything either...hmmph. We have piles...of stuff. They're organized somewhat. This pile is "this"...and that pile is "that"...LOL. I will get to it...eventually.

I am getting a new neighbor...Michelle from Missie's ScrakAttic is moving one Mobile Home down from me. Yippee...(insert a happy dance...here). Wow...the neighbor between us is in trouble. I see a footpath between yards in our future.

Here's my top 10 reasons why it will be sooo Cool too have Michelle as a neighbor...

1. What could be better than having your BFF live next door!
2. Ride sharing...Money in the bank!
3. Meal sharing...again...Money in the bank! AND...that means less cooking for everyone! I say we find a third neighbor and get them to cook more than us.
4. She makes coffee. I like coffee...
5. Our kids can play everyday.
6. She has an extra parking space! heehee.
7. If I want to go over to her house, it's not 2 hours away...more like 20 seconds. Maybe less...will time it for sure.
8. If we have too many margarita's on Friday's @ HER house...(hint..hint...) I can walk home.
9. If we have too many glasses of wine on Saturday's @ MY house...she can walk home.
10. Scrapping all the time!

I can't wait to have her here, it may take a little while, but it will be great!

1. I have an ever so slight OCD problem...but it's limited to about one thing. When I get out of my car, I triple check to see if I have my keys. Even if I just saw myself drop them in my purse, I have to stop and reach in my purse and touch them at least once, if not twice.

2. I have never, ever sneezed just "ONCE" in my life. I sound like a machine gun going off!

3. I love Diet Coke. Really, Really LOVE IT. I think that there is something addictive in it.

4. I am a smoker...it's a terrible habit!

5. I am a bit of a pool shark...HOWEVER, I haven't played in a couple years. I sharked a couple of guys in a bar in Ft. Worth, TX for about a $100 bucks! teehee!

6. I am terrified of Mice. Like...Freeze me in my tracks, stop everything I am doing, never going wherever they have been, kind of scared! Little Monsters...I get chills just writing this.

7. I really really LOVE to play Guitar Hero! It's soo much fun! My stepson brought his game over and I bought my son one at Christmas...just so I could play too!

Hi All!

I have a new kit in the store today and it will be 30% for a short time! I think it's the best I have ever done! LOL...NOT tooting my horn here, but I liked scrapping with it!! LOL! Here's the preview.& if you want it just click it to go to the store. This selling stuff kinda freaks me out. What if NO ONE buys anything? It's scary to me. I hope I am wrong, but this worries me greatly. Did any other designers feel this way when you started(if your reading)? I also did a couple of LO's with it! Scrapping yourself is never easy and trust me when I say it took me FOREVER last night to do it!! (hehe...notice the play on the kit's name there...I'm a witty one...hehe). The other LO is my husband and daughter. He may not be her real "Dad", but their LOVE for each other is "REAL".

Things really are getting better for me and "phew" am I glad. I was practically off work (or working from home) all of April. I was either down in my back or terribly ill, but I am so much better! I am still coughing and still have a scratchy throat, but I can FUNCTION!! Thank You everyone for the prayers and encouragement. I know you prayed me through it.

The little house is going pretty well. My husband laid some laminate floors and they look great. He re-arranged the cabinets to make the Kitchen more functional. He built a new bar in the kitchen and it also serves as the pantry. We still have no counter tops, but their on their way. He made the 3rd bedroom (soooo small) into a closet for us. The house was so old there are no closets...wow! Luckily, the room is serving well as the closet and storage room, junk room, I don't know what to do with box so it goes in this room, room...etc. We really paired down our stuff when we moved and it is VERY obvious that we must do it again. God is revealing to me that I don't' need all this STUFF!! I didn't realize that I had sooooo many clothes that I didn't wear. It really doesn't matter how many clothes I have right now, during my month long illness I seemed to have lost around 30 lbs and I can't wear anything I had anyway. I can wear some of the shirts, but the pants are a joke. Now don't get me wrong...I am NOT complaining! I have needed to take off some weight for a while now. I really need to hit some thrift stores! I am pants poor!! (y'all go buy my kits...HAHA..no seriously..teehee) I really haven't gotten to do much in the little house, I have been too sick, but just wait for this weekend! I have a plan of attack! Reduce, Reduce and Reduce some more!! Wish me luck....better yet...pray! Oh YEAH!! I forgot to mention....I am going to Alaska...(you know that old song...North to Alaska...North the rush is on...it's stuck in my head) on a CRUISE! I am getting to go with my Grandparents (my Mom and Dad, but that's another post) & my Aunt and Cousin and other family I really don't know that well!! I am sooooo very excited! Where do I get one of those count down widget things!! I need one!! Sooo good to check in! I hope everything is well with everyone! AND...You guy's go visit Michelle's blog! I do have some pretty cool news for you. I will be Designing exclusively for Moo Two Designs. If you guy's haven't checked them out, just click the Cow! I have a kit that is just about ready and will be posting it to them very soon (actually, I tried tonight, but it's just not working out)! My blog readers of course will be getting a cutie pie mini-kit add on that I will only be posting right here! In the meantime go visit MOO TWO!! There is a lot of great stuff and a "FREEBIE" Section!

I am not feeling better and plan on going to the DR. first thing again in the morning. I am just to the point of "DO ANYTHING" to make me better. I will take any shot, go in the hospital, whatever it takes! I can't breathe, I can't talk, I cough non-stop. This is just ridiculous! ARRGHH! LOL. Enough of my complaining...I just thought I would post while doing my breathing treatment!

All I can say is WOW...

Yep...and I would be lucky to just "CROAK" that out. I told you all last week that I came up with a nasty bug...well, the bug develops into a nastier bug and then I wake up Monday with what feels like razors in my throat. I am running fever, my throat is on fire (I can't speak) and coughing my head off. I go to the DR. and he says..."oh yeah..you have strep AND a upper respiratory infection..." GEEZ. I have gotta get a break here. This is enough. I am totally pissed off about all this! BUT...yep there is one thing ...MY BACK IS BETTER!! LOL! Something had to give and I guess that was my break! You guy's should see all the drugs the DR. gave me. It's crazy! Pills for coughing, pain pills for coughing, breathing treatments, 2 rounds of antibiotics, an inhaler, a steroid inhaler...and if I am not better tomorrow...I get to go back. Oh Joy. Anyhoo...I am going to lay back down. Any suggestions?? Maybe I should get a bubble and live in it!??

A little less Horror and a little less pain

Hi Guys!

Just thought I would give an update! The Chiropractor thing is going very well. When I went in, they took Xrays and showed me what was going on. (I have had many opinions of Chiropractors and such, but my experience has been good) She showed me that I had some issues going on with my tailbone. She explained that there are plates in your tailbone and lot's and lots of nerves and muscles that held them in place & she explained that these plates actually should move when you walk. Mine weren't moving...AT ALL. That's why when I would move it was excruciating. She put me on a Physical Therapy plan that included, some kind of "shocking the heck out of you machine", some exercises and adjustments. I was expecting to get twisted into all kinds of painful positions, but that didn't happen. She has this "clicker" (my pet name for it...lol) and she feels along my spine and neck and "clicks" my spine back into place. Imagine being thumped really really firmly. She says that it is just as effective as being manipulated and it's less traumatic. I liked that because I didn't need traumatic...I was traumatic! Sitting still gets me. I finish my 2nd week with her this Friday and will probably have to see her next week too! I actually had to go lay in a conference room for a few the other day, but just laying down for a little bit really does help. I have been reclining in my car at lunch for a little while. It's not quite the same as laying, but it does take the edge off. On Friday, Saturday & Sunday I ran fever and had the worst sore throat ever. It's landed completely in my chest. It must be going around though...My husband has it, My Michelle (well...she is mine...LOL...she always puts URMichelle when she downloads...LOL), my Director has it. We all sound like a bunch of hacking, crouping, wheezing, coughing group of sickos! I have coughed so much that I just vomit. I was talking to Debbie today and started coughing...I looked at her with panic and was like...NOW WHAT. The bathroom is at the complete other end of the building from her desk. I could have yucked in her trash, but EWWW! I trucked to the bathroom as fast as my lame old butt could get me there. I think I even half jogged. I was mortified at the thought of vomiting in the floor!! I hate to vomit, but at the same time...I feel better afterwards. Enough of my icky talk! Sunday night, I was crying to my husband...I think someone Hates me! Suprised, he was like "WHUT?" I said, you know, like they hate me & have a voodoo doll and they are trying to kill me. He just laughed...ya honey. I really think I am just being spiritually attacked. Satan is all over me with my health. Well, he didn't take away our love for Christ when we lost our house, he didn't take away my love for Christ with the problems with my daughter, he didn't take it with my childhood...so...nananabooboo Devil...God's taking care of me! You guy's just pray for me to get well AND Pray for Miss Michelle. In fact don't pray for me...just pray for Michelle. She needs Lot's of prayer, love and support! I do have some other cool news. Before we moved, I applied to be on a DT w/ a way Coool place! I was offered a spot! I am sooo pumped up for that! On second thought go ahead and add me to the prayer list...I need to get some kits created for the store and you guy's need freebies!! And I miss being here all the time! I just need an hour or two (ok...three...pray for three hours) to sit here and crank some stuff out!! I have some great ideas and can't wait to get them out! Love you all! Miss everyone!

Hi Everyone! Just thought I would drop in to say HI! Things are pretty much the same here! The back is getting better, but I am still having some issues sitting for any amount of time. To top it off I got some nasty head cold yesterday! Totally can't smell a thing, can't taste a thing or breathe! Nice...Anyway...still un-packing little house. The hubby and I tried working on the boy's room & I wasn't much help though. My youngest daughter is visiting...totally loving having her here! She is just pure joy to be with! I love you KK! I also designed just a little today. Maybe I will be able to get that up soon! I hope to be back soon!

Hi Guys!

Yep...still down in the back. I am getting around though...that's a big improvement! Made a stab at work today & made it until about 2pm until I just couldn't take it anymore. Came home and had to lay down for about an hour and a half just to be able to function. This is definitely not working for me. It's driving me nuts! I hate this! I am going to the Chiropractor 8:30AM tomorrow morning though. I am actually a little scared. I hurt so much that I am afraid. I just know that I will eventually get to make a new kit soon! Hubby has a laptop & I am going to have to insist he switches w/ me so I can design anywhere...I think this is a fab idea...I could just take it everywhere I go! I really miss you guys & promise to be back soon!

La Osita...Piracy

I would like to respond to La Osita publicly. She left a comment on my blog today after I defended Susan Darter owner of Raspberry Road. La Osita states that Susan "Pirated" some stitches. I am not defending the "stitches" I am defending that La Osita publicly blasts Susan before giving her an opportunity to respond to her. She posts around noon today that the stitches were hers on DigiScrap Depot and on the Raspberry Road CT blog. And without giving Susan opportunity to respond she Publicly blasts her. I said that it was "Ridiculous" that she didn't give Susan an opportunity to rectify/explain/prove that the stitches were her own or otherwise. I have downloaded hundreds if not thousands of freebies as I am sure you all have. I have downloaded hundreds of CU freebies as well. Have any of you EVER lost (by moving or otherwise) a TOU? I sure have. I do regard Piracy as a serious issue too, but I also believe in fairness & I don't believe calling someone out before they even know what's going on is fair. So...that's the story...and I stand by it.

Wow. Seems like forever since I have been able to get on any computer! I sure have missed you guys! What was the "horror and the pain" you ask? I have been completely bed ridden w/ my back out. Yup-blew it completely out. I am sitting and walking today and just might get to have a shower. You laugh, but it's true~no shower for 3 days. EWWW. It took me over 10 minutes just to crawl to the bathroom, that might not seem like that long, but the bathroom is literally 8 feet away. I never really understood how bad "lower back" pain could be, but I think God has humbled me. Whenver someone said their back was out, I don't think I "GOT IT", but trust me on this....I DO NOW. LOL. I am sitting upright & the pain is MUCH, MUCH LESS! I felt like I had surgery or something. Anyway, I will get back to designing very soon hopefully and really miss everyone! I hope to be back soon!

Hi All!

Phew...I am sooo tired! Today started bright and early at 7:00AM with more painting and ripping out carpets and linoleum which just ended at 9:30PM. All of me hurts worse than yesterday. I need a vacation from my vacation! We found a few extra dollars in the purse strings and since little house is empty thought it would be wise to go ahead and get the floors done. Just the front three rooms, and it will make an amazing difference. Things are certainly coming along. Now, just to move the stuff from the old house and into storage and little house. I need 3 of me. I believe Michelle is going to rescue me though! Thank You Michelle! I was all by my lonesome today and didn't even bring the radio. It was raining a little and it was actually very nice. Just me and the paint. I can't think of one single thing I actually thought about. Kind of theraputic really. I had a great day and did see a lot of progress!

Hi All!

Well, my day started at 6:00AM after going to bed SO very late last night & we worked and painted the little house 4EVER! Major, Major difference though! No more school bus yellow cabinets and kitchen walls. I thought we would have to replace the cabinets, but as it turns out, they just needed a decent painting. We seriously need new flooring though. Little House (my affectionate name for the new place) got a mini lift today! I picked out a tan color for the walls and a lighter tanish (is that a word??) color for the cabinets. Upon the first stroke on the walls I immediately knew that this definately wasn't dark enough. It was really just WHITE. Which also meant the cabinet color was BRIGHT WHITE! So, back to Home Depot we went and waited almost 2 hours for the guy to fumble around and try and figure something out. The sad part was, we were the only ones there! When I returned from Home Depot and got the ceilings and the walls rolled out I realized that the outsidehouse color EXACTLY matches the inside now. My mother in law proceeds to point out that the outside is also trimmed in green and that my curtains and accents in a lot of my decor is also green....hmmm. Hey, I guess we have a color scheme going. My husband laughed his head off. He says that we could have used the exterior paint in the shed and save a few bucks! I hurt everywhere...All of me is tired and hurts! And it's not over...sniff...sniff. Lord help me! I am posting right now just to unwind! Sooo...on to the FREEBIES!

Hi Guys!

Well, the first day of vacation was spent mostly in bed for two reasons: 1. I was sooo down in my back the whole right side of my body was just killing me. 2. I took a pain pill that when I woke up I was still VERY groggy, but it was the only way to get any sleep! Went to the Dr. with the hubby and I could have laid out on their couch and snored VERY loudly...LOL! I am so much better tonight though, I think I will make it. We did get some accomplished anyway, just not what I intended. I will be at the little house tomorrow painting my life away. The good part is that I won't have to tape anything off! The carpet is coming out anyway! HEHE. It's the little things sometimes that make things better!

Here's a funny for you...Jerry (hubby) took his Mom over to see it. She see's the sign in the window for $4,500.00, BUT she reads it as $45,000.00. A few days later Jerry tells her we bought it. She tells him "that it's none of my business, but I doesn't understand #1 why anyone would pay $45K for it and #2 why didn't we use that kind of CASH to fix our current housing problem?" He tells her..."Mom, we couldn't live anywhere cheaper, our bills will be next to nothing...we paid Cash for it" (he didn't catch the 45K part yet). She says "but Jerry, you could rent something for cheaper". He says, "Mom, how in the world could I rent something cheaper? You show me something FREE and it would be cheaper!" She tells him"Jerry, why didn't you pay that on your current Home?" He says, "What? Mom, that would get me about one and a half months @ $2,224.10...not even that long actually! Your starting to upset me, I am doing the best I can. Where else could I pay $4,000.00 dollars and own it Mom? We are renovating it & we can afford to do it!" Then she goes..."$4,000.00 dollars...I thought that sign said that is was over $40,000.00 dollars!!" HEHE...they had a good laugh over that one...He was getting kinda upset, but when they both realized they weren't talking the same number they had a good laugh! Too Funny...When I show my parents I will tell them it was free...LOL.

Hope all is well with everyone! Thank You to those who left comments about what type of kit they might like to see~I took a comment from "Anonymous" (LOL...would of been nice for ANY OTHER name...but OK I'll take it!) She said that she has four boys and loves bright colors - and Masculine. Well, she didn't really say what ages, but I did make a grungy, but bright boy kit. This Paper Pack has 8 papers~There is a plaid, 3 solids, an airplane paper, diamonds, large polka dots & Stars! I just love Stars!

Many of you may wonder the WHY behind StarScraps, well....I had hippie very young parents, who decided it would be a grand idea to name me LOVE STAR! You did read that correctly...LOVE STAR. Well, by the time I was born, the LOVE turned into KIMBERLY...(thank you LORD, thank you, thank you and thank you). The Star remained though and I was teased un-mercifully, but I dropped it when I married. Star really doesn't seem that bad now, but it's also many, many MOONS (hehe...little joke right there..LOL) later and I really don't care now. So what better way than to express that now! So...now you know!! LOL! I am starting my vacation today! I would say YIPEE in any other instance, but this vacation is packing, moving and unpacking...LOL. Although, I am down in my back today, hurts all the way down my right leg. You guys pray for me, because this is really painful!

Thank Goodness it's Friday. I am not so certain why I am sooo Happy about it though! It just means more work for me...LOL! We start moving stuff into storage tomorrow and Sunday! It will be a good feeling to get it started though. So, that part is exciting! The packing the moving and the leaving...not so much. Baseball season is just starting for my little leaguer, so I think you can probably expect a baseball kit from me pretty soon. I don't know how much Designing I will get to do in the next week, but I can't wait too long, I just might have a breakdown! LOL...no I am serious! Hi Guys!

Busy, Busy and very Busy. I will be so glad when this week ends. Things have been hectic at the office, the boss has been agitated, things are a little crazy at the home front...I am just frustrated and tired. Well, we are 100% on buying the little trailer. It's a pretty good place for the money and we will have plenty surplus to give it a little cosmetic lift. It's a pretty good feeling to know that we won't have one single payment to make on it. I had been praying so hard for God to find us a place and it certainly wasn't what I had in mind, BUT I know that Isaiah 55:8 says this...For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. So, I am thankful for our Tin Can Ranch! (I say that with affection...LOL). We are making plans, we looked at flooring today and new cabinets. We will be searching Craig's list for some goodies too!

Hi Everybody...(my husband made me change "guys" to "everybody" Jerry...the critic...now he says if I were blogging about Guns then I could use "guys", but since I am talking about Scrapping it needs to be "Girls or Everybody"-Thank You Honey-I appreciate your assistance!)

Wow...another one of those days...yeah me. I truly needed to work my real job tonight, but it didn't work out that way. A realtor had some houses listed in my X's neighborhood-one of the houses he used to live in and would be 2 other homes. Well, we were interested in the other 2. Not the X's. Isn't living in your X's rent house weird? My Hubby drove up and he was like NO WAY-we can't live here. We didn't ask to even see the X's old house, she just gave me an address and upon turning down the street I realized that OH...NO...NO...NO...NO...can't be the X's...driving closer to the X's old house...getting closer...you must be joking...THE X's HOUSE. We are not looking at this house...and then she stopped...right in front of the X's house. I tell her I just don't think I can live here & OOPS...Sorry...she doesn't have anything else available at the moment...So very Sorry. Geez...now let me explain that's this is my kind of luck. My X's hand me downs...NO THANK YOU...So... We have decided that we need to be living well below our means. Well below...very "WELL". That would mean making sacrifices right? Well, I think we have decided to do just that. Make VERY, HUGE, BIG, BIG (did I say Huge or monumental yet?) sacrifices. We found a very small house (on wheels that has lights attached to the back-hey, but they are painted so it's not exactly mobile...the porch is attahced, does that count? AND the hitch has been removed!) that will save us a VERY considerable amount of money. Two years here and we save some very large bank. The good news is that we will be moving and soon, the bad news we are going to learn quickly how to live in 1300+ sq ft LESS than have been accustomed and are comfortable with...oh boy. More good news...it's paid for...we own it. I think I'm gonna need a really big porch added on to this house & move the living room right outside...hehe. Hope no one steals the T.V. Those are going to have to be some really big bolts to hold it all down! Just kidding (not really...) This will be interesting...talk about a close knit family. I'm not sure I want to be this close to my family. I think I will get myself a hotel room at least once a month to feel like I actually have some space. Hey, here's a thought...we could always build a huge deck OVER the mobile home...hmm...a two story mobile home...now that's thinking outside the trailer house. I am really going to miss my house, but I will not miss the payment that was on the new statement yesterday...$2,224.10! (That's a MONTH not quarterly...)For my 2000+ Sq ft. $140K-apparent Mansion we financed so ignorantly. These are some Hard lessons, but hey...we had a good teacher. Thank You Mortgage Lender! Theives! Robbing, lying theives.

Enough of my sarcasm...Here is your 2nd Paper Pack. It's all patterns. Striped, plaid, boxy (I can't think of anything else to call the black, pink and white one) 2 flower prints, and some swirly ones. Hi Everybody!

Wow. Today was just a whirlwind. Talk about things happening one right after another. (in my real job) Phew! And it starts again in the morning. yeah me...LOL! This is my "get away" though (DigiScrap)-I get to be creative and GIVE. Now that's really a "YEAH ME!" I am so trying to get my stuff on to 4shared, but it just isn't cooperating...I am trying now for the 4th time. Anyone have another preference? Know anything about some others? PLEASE let me know if you do!! I can pretty much count on trying to upload to 4shared at least 3X's. Arrggghhh. Got to a whopping 17% that time...geez. Ok...in the meantime, I found this awesome site tonight. I was praying for a friend and started googling some things and found this site: DELVE - I haven't seen anything I don't like yet. Very Good Reading!

The hubby is in College Station working and the kiddo's are at Dad's this week (share custody-every other week) So it's just me and Gus...my dog. He's just sitting here snoring his little life away. And I do mean SNORING. Like, waking the neighbors kind of snoring, it's almost disturbing really. We turned down a nice, very affordable house for Gus yesterday. I LOVE MY DOG and sorry, he can't sleep in the backyard. Now, don't get me wrong-some dogs need to sleep in the backyard. But, not my baby....

One of my best girlfriends had another baby today! Welcome baby Jay! 7lbs 13oz of little man! Congrats Arley, Kristin and big Sis Grace!

Hi Everyone!

Hope all is well with everyone and you are having a blessed Easter weekend. We certainly have had a very good weekend. The house was full this weekend, all my kiddo's (well except one, but that's another talk show) were here! We watched Horton hears a Who! Very cute! Maybe a little too cute for my kiddo's, but we still had fun and they all seemed to enjoy it! They are getting older and I find myself wishing I could slow it all down. I swear I just gave birth! (Alas, the first was almost 18 years ago). The weeks keep ticking by faster and faster. My baby is 10yrs old! One of my best girlfriends is having her 2ND child (first is almost 1) in a couple of weeks. I am really kind of envying her. All these babies kinda makes me want one! However, THANK YOU LORD for the Children you blessed me with. AND of course, Thank You Lord for sacrificing your Son to save me!

Lord, I just want to pray for anyone whose eyes fall across this post. Thank You for your Risen Son-Jesus. I ask in your son's name, that anyone reading this who is hurting, who is ill, who is scared, who is lonely, that you give them your Grace and Mercy. Lord, I ask that you lift them up out of despair and replace what is hurting with a Joy that can only undeniably be yours. I ask that you intervene in any one's behalf-so that they could cry only your name. Lord, Thank you for your Goodness and Love for me and all who read this now. Lord I pray upon all-Grace, Peace, Love and Mercy. Amen.

Today was fantastic! I got to spend the day with my youngest daughter and my Aunt! We just had a blast! My Aunt took us out to eat and then to Belk! I don't know if anyone else has a Belk, but it's kinda like a Dillards or Macy's, but with WAY WAY better sales. My Aunt blessed my daughter with some great shorts & a shirt! She looked so cute! I also picked up a shirt that was over 80% off for $2.98! And a pair of Jeans for $4.98-same thing 80% off! Loved it! Thanks for a great afternoon Aunt Devonne and Kaylee! I love you both!

Do Not Worry... Matthew 6:25-50

For those of you who know me-you may know we are going through a really hard time. For those of you who don't know-We were one of the big "Suckers" in the Adjustable Rate Mortgage nightmare. The payments on our house have just gotten higher and higher and higher and we just can't do it & my husband was hurt last Summer and then subsequently laid off in December-We now live on about 1/2 of what we used to earn. VERY Scary stuff. We just don't feel like bankruptcy is for us. We can't re-finance-already tried. This is just heartbreaking. I have that huge lump in my throat. When you buy your first house-it's part of this dream you spun growing up. Just like kissing your first boyfriend or getting married in that white dress, it's a dream come true. But to lose it something you dreamed of forever, it's heart breaking. I know God is with me-I know he loves me-but this hurts. Looking for a rental is soo frustrating too. They either are just horrible or so nice you can't afford it. Where is the happy medium...??

Hi All!

I have a new kit called "This Old Thing". I made around 18 papers and 30+ elements! This one was a little more challenging for me-trying to get the florals right and a getting a little vintage feel to it. BUT, It was a lot of fun to make! I will eventually get this posted. 4shared is giving me fits! I'm at 89% (keeping my fingers crossed...I have tried 4 times) ohhh...95%....97%....99% (please Lord) YES! FINALLY!
